The Beginning

John 1:1-2

1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. ² He was with God in the beginning.

Genesis 1:1-5 and 26
1 In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth,
2 And the earth was a formless void and darkness covered the face of the deep.
3 Then God said, "Let there be light"; and there was light.
4 And God saw that the light was good; and God separated the light from the darkness.
5 God called the light Day, and the darkness He called Night. And there was evening and there was morning on the first day.
26 Then God said, "Let us make humankind in our image, according to our likeness; and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the wild animals of the earth, and over every creeping thing that creeps upon the earth."

John 8:32

Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.

For each step that you take
To somewhere the world round,
First a plan must one make
On an earth's model found.

For to know where you're going
You must know where you've been.
While on Earth, it's best knowing
From where out to where in.

And the best way to get there
Is to have a map guide;
For a good scaled sphere
Of the Earth should be tried.

So to seek a lost treasure
Or everything you want here:
Do you want only pleasure
Or wisdom to hold dear?

It is best you now go
To the role you must play,
For the world tomorrow
Will spin a new day.

Until then, this clue
Is much to be pondered.
Your reward will come due
At dawn's new path wandered.

Just remember that change
Must come from within.
Each heart rearranged
'Til world change can begin.
